Screws
A screw is a type of fastener made of metal, and characterized by a helical ridge, known as a male thread or external thread. The screw threads would cut a helical groove in a softer material as the screw is inserted. The object of screws are to hold objects together and to position objects.
Drywall screw is a specialized screw with a bugle head that is designed to attach drywall to wood or metal studs. The diameter of drywall screw threads is larger than the grip diameter.
Deck screw has improved corrosion resistance and has a thread cutting tip for installation into decking materials. The bugle head allows the screw to depress the wood surface without breaking it.
A Timber drive screw is a heavy duty fixing that requires no pre-drilling, suitable for many timber to timber applications.
Thunderbolts are a threaded anchor and self-tapping bolt. Thunderbolts come in countersunk head, flange head and hex head. Thunderbolt anchors can be installed nearer to the edge of materials without risk of providing stress to the fixing. They give safe anchorage and work well with metal, wood, concrete, brick, stone and even marble. Installation is easy and quick, making it the ideal general purpose anchor in the market.
