Window Frame Cramps Ties

Timber frame ties are used to fix masonry to timber frame buildings. Frame cramps are used to tie timber frames to masonry. They are made from galvanised mild steel EN 10346 DX51D Z275, Zinc and yellow passivated mild steel and stainless steel Grade 1.4301 austenitic stainless steel to EN 10088-2.
Fishtailed Frame Cramp is traditionally used for fixing wooden door and window frames into block work. Frame Cramps can also be used for restraining masonry to new and existing structures in non-structural applications and can easily be shot fired into steel work. Available in galvanised steel. Available in 100mm, 150mm and 200mm lengths.
The fishtailed design gives enhanced pull out strength and also has rounded corners to minimise sharp edges and reduce the risk of injury. The up stand is 50mm and two 6mm holes and one 8mm hole to allow easy fixing installation.

Screw Ties are used to tie timber door and window frames to adjacent brickwork. Available Zinc and yellow passivated mild steel. Threaded one end. Screw directly into timber using a small pilot hole if required. Comes in a box of 100.
