Timber to Timber Hangers
Its extremely important that you select and properly install the appropriate joist hangers. Make sure to fill all of the required nail holes with the appropriate nail type. Always make sure you are using the largest hanger size for a particular joist. Joist hangers are designed for specific applications and load carrying capacities. Never cut, resize or modify joist hangers for alternative uses, since this will greatly affect their load capacity.
Mini Joist Hanger
This one piece galvanised mini joist hanger is available in a range of widths for light duty applications such as trimmers and ceiling joists. There is a tag on the base of the hanger helps avoid rotation and aids fast, accurate positioning. This tag can easily be bent. The joist bearing is 50mm. The hanger is produced from 1mm thick pre-galvanised mild steel.
Fixing Instructions
- All holes should be nailed using 30mm x 3.75mm Square Twist nails or equivalent.
Multifunctional Joist Hanger
The multifunctional joist hanger is used where additional strength is required or where access to the top of the timber or steel is not available. These joist hangers can be nailed or bolted. The hanger should be a minimum of over half (60%) the depth of the supported member to avoid rotation. These joist hangers available from mini to large sizes.

No Tag Joist Hanger
No Tag Joist Hanger is a wide legs timber hangers, available in seven different sizes and suitable for depths ranging from 125mm to 225mm. The hanger is produced from 0.8mm thick pre-galvanised mild steel in accordance with the BS EN 10327:2004 DX51D+Z275 specifications. Also available in Stainless Steel. Joist bearing 60mm. Also available in stainless steel.

This Joist Hanger has a shortened leg and available in four different sizes with a 50mm joist bearing. The hanger includes a base tag to avoid unnecessary rotation. The base tag can significantly contribute to faster and more accurate installation. It is produced from 1mm thick pre-galvanised mild steel produced in accordance to EN BS 10327:2004 DX51D+Z275.

Heavy Duty Face Fix Joist Hanger
This Heavy Duty Joist Hanger is designed for timber to timber, timber to concrete or masonry fixings. It is produced from 2.5mm thick pre-galvanised mild steel and in accordance with the specification given in the BS EN 10327:2004 DX51D+Z275. The joist hanger offers substantial safe working load up to 18.5kN. Available also in stainless steel.

Fixing Instructions
- The hanger should exceed the half of the supported member depth in order of avoiding rotation.
- Can be fully nailed, coach screwed and bolted.
- Use 3nos. M10 x 75mm Coach Screws on either side and the supported joist bolted through the hanger using an M12 Bolt,
- The safe working load also depends on the block strength and used fixings.
I-Joist Hanger
I-Joist Hanger is an innovative new backer free Joist Hanger to suit solid engineered wood products as well as I-Joists, and is engineered to combine maximum load carrying capacity with easy hands-free site installation, at minimum cost. They are offered with either face fix or top fix connections. Made from 0.7mm pre galvanised mild steel EN 10346 DX51D Z275.
